Global Interface – Selection criteria/Filters

HRB2L Selection criteria (Filters)

The middle section is dedicated to filters and selection criteria. The filters are used to select the best opportunities of the day. If no filter is selected, the full list of the day’s runners is displayed in the selections table.

By clicking the button , you will reset the filters to their defaullt values.
By clicking the buttons Click here to modify the value range, you will display the filter box that will allow you to modify the value range of the corresponding filter.

Filters list:

  • Races
    • GB/IRE
Only UK/IRE races are processed by HR B2L as the volume of other countries’ markets (US/AUS), especially in-play, is too low to place such bets. If you only want UK races, uncheck the IRE box.
    • Flat/Jump/Bumper
Contrary to what many punters think, the DOB is not just for flat races, or for runners who are in the lead. On the contrary, there are many possibilities in jump races and bumper races (National Hunt flat races).
    • Types (All Race Types/Only Reliable Races/Only Not Reliable Race)
      Race Types
By reliable, we mean races where there is enough data to have a fairly accurate picture of each starter, or types of races known to give random results (amateur races, etc).
Therefore, if you select the option called “Only Reliable Races”, the following races will be excluded, and no horses related to them will be displayed:
      • Amateur races
      • Apprentice races
      • Claiming/Selling races
      • Juvenile races
      • Maiden races
      • Novice/Nursery races
    • Nb Runners
This is the number of runners range per race. For example, if you only want to display selections that run in races with a minimum of 8 runners and a maximum of 15 runners, click Click here to modify the value range, then select the value 8 and 15 in the filter box (see below).

By clicking on the Form button, you will be offered a list where you can specify what kind of recent form you are interested in (see Form column). For example, if you only want to list horses that were placed recently, select “1/2/3 Form”; all the horses whose Form column contains at least a 1st, 2nd, 3rd result will be listed. If you want to only include horses that have won their last race, select “Last Time Out Winner”.

      >> What does “profitable DOB” mean?
In fact, by clicking on “Search”, the software will perform a number of calculations on each horse, including the calculation of the profit/loss of the horse if we had bet the DOB on each of his races. You can see this value by hovering over the column called “DB” (Last 3 Races).
e.g. The following horse did 3 times the DOB out of 3 races, and we would have won £29.00 (including Betfair commission)
